In this blog, I’ll take you behind the scenes of my daily routine as a wellness coach, and share my favorite resources for your own journey.
6:00 AM – The Foundation Starts Early
My alarm goes off, but honestly? I’ve usually been awake for about 10 minutes, soaking in the quiet. I start with five deep breaths and set an intention for the day.
Today’s intention: Show up authentically for my clients and myself.
Next up: a big glass of water with lemon and a moment of gratitude. This morning, I’m grateful for my body’s strength, my clients’ trust, and even my full-time job that keeps life interesting.
7:30 AM – Fueling for the Day
Breakfast is non-negotiable. I go for Greek yogurt with berries, granola, and scrambled eggs. Balanced nutrition is a must, and my body thanks me for it.
While I eat, I review client notes for today’s sessions. Each person’s journey is unique, and I want to show up fully prepared.
9:00 AM – Client Connection Time
First coaching session: Sarah, who’s been working on confidence and self-image. Six months ago, she wouldn’t have believed she could speak up in meetings. Today, she’s sharing how she led a presentation at work.
These breakthroughs? They’re why I do what I do.
Throughout my day in the life wellness coach routine, I focus on balanced nutrition, movement, and mindset. Each coaching session is a chance to help others navigate their own wellness journey, just as I do in my own life.
11:00 AM – Content Creation Mode
Between responsibilities for my full-time job, I carve out time to create content. Today, I’m filming an Instagram video about supplement basics—one of my favorite topics because there’s so much confusing info out there.
I keep it real. If I mess up a line, I laugh it off. If I’m having a tough day, I share that too (when it’s helpful). Authenticity > perfection.
1:00 PM – Lunch and Learning
Lunch is meal-prepped chicken and veggies (thank you, Sunday meal prep!). I use this time to catch up on the latest wellness research. Staying current isn’t just a professional responsibility—it’s how I serve my clients best.
3:00 PM – Personal Training Session
I practice what I preach about being a lifelong learner. Three times a week, I work with my own personal trainer, focusing on building strength and changing my body composition.
Today’s focus: glutes and legs. Growth happens outside our comfort zone—I remind myself of this as I sweat, struggle, and push through.
5:30 PM – Administrative Love (Yes, Really)
Admin tasks might not sound exciting, but I find joy in the behind-the-scenes work: updating client progress notes, responding to Instagram messages, and planning my Zen & Tonic newsletter.
Each message is a chance to encourage someone. Every note helps me serve clients better.
7:00 PM – Dinner and Decompression
Dinner is simple: salmon, sweet potato, and a salad. I eat without distractions (most of the time), really tasting my food and letting my body register satisfaction. This is self-care in action.
8:30 PM – Personal Development Time
I spend 30 minutes reading about habit formation. As someone who helps others create change, I’m always learning new approaches.
Tonight’s insight: Small, consistent actions compound into massive results. It’s a reminder I need for my own growth, too.
9:30 PM – Wind Down Ritual
My evening routine is sacred. I review my day—what went well, what I learned, what I want to adjust tomorrow. I write three things I’m grateful for and set out my clothes for the morning. Then it’s skincare, a few minutes of stretching, and prepping for sleep.
Progress over perfection, always.
10:30 PM – Lights Out
Before bed, I reflect: Did I live my values? Show up authentically? Move closer to my goals while helping others with theirs?
Most days, the answer is yes. On the days it’s not, I give myself the same grace I’d offer a client.
